Kishiwada City
The city lies halfway between Osaka and Wakayama, located 20km
from downtown Osaka, and 10km from Kansai International Airport.
This city of oblong landform (7.6 by 17.3 km) with 71.04km2 land
area stretches east and west. The rich natural environment that
lies along the hills and the mountains represents one of the
characteristics of Kishiwada. The present population is 200 thousand.
Kishiwada City boasts of unique cultural resources in the area
such as Kishiwada Castle, Danjiri Festival and many other historical
and cultural heritages. |
