Kaizuka City

Kaizuka city is blessed with a rich natural environment. The city faces Mt.Katsuragi and the Izumi mountain range to the east and Osaka bay to the west beyond the Nishiki-no-hama with white sands and green pine. Visitors to the city will find rich cultural assets such as Jinai-machi centered around the Gansen-ji Temple, from which Kaizuka developed, Mizuma Kan-non known as ‘Yaku-yoke Kan-non’ (apotropaic temple) and ‘Kugi-nashi-do’ (nail-less wooden religious structure), a national treasure. This city is also a town of traditional handicrafts as exemplified by the boxen comb manufacture.
New projects such as the industrial complex and the beach conservation zone are in progress.
