Sennan City

Sennan City is situated in southern Osaka. The city of 47.34km² in area has a population of 65,600(as of August, 2003). Kumano road, a historic road, crosses the area along (and to the west of) the railway (JR Hanwa line). At the mouth of the Onosato-gawa River is the Osaka's only natural mudland formation. In the Rinku Town area, a man-made foreshore ('Marble Beach') and a man-made beach ('Southern Beach') are also seen. The city area includes about a third of the southern area of Kansai International Airport.
