Hannan City
Hannan City in southern Osaka is blessed with natural beauty
which attracts many visitors, such as Osaka’s only natural mudland
at the mouth of the Onosato-gawa River, ‘Sakura-no-sono’ (picked
as one of Osaka’s Hundred Best Greeneries) with the dam site
as a backdrop, and, a thousand cherry trees in Yamanaka Ravine.
The ‘Wampaku Kingdom’ in Yamanaka Ravine features a rollway,
one of the longest slides in Western Japan. In summer, visitors
can enjoy bathing at Pichi-pichi Beach, which has a panoramic
view spanning from Akashi Kaikyo (Strait) Bridge to Kansai International
Airport, and, last but not least, the magnificent view of the
setting sun. |
