Osaka Prefectural Museum of Yayoi Culture

The museum is in the Ikegami-Sone Historic Site Park. It is dedicated to collecting, studying and preserving Yayoi culture-related materials and information. Not to mention the real Yayoi artifacts, replicas from nationwide sources are also exhibited. A reproduced model of the manor house of Queen Himiko of Yamatai-koku (3rd century) is a fine example of an ingenious display which is designed to help visitors vicariously experience the Yayoi Period while enjoying their trip.
